Description
Oregano is a warming herb with strong antiviral and antibacterial effects
Digestive tract health: recommended for indigestion and flatulence, as well as for reducing inflammatory bowel disease, parasites and fungal organisms in the digestive tract.
Immunity support: Due to its antiviral, antibacterial and antioxidant effects, 2-3 teaspoons per glass of very warm water will be an effective gargle for hoarseness or a sore throat. Rosemary infusion can also help with coughs and colds.
Skin health: dilute the infusion 1:1 with water and clean the skin of the face (or shoulders, décolleté – affected by acne or pimples) with a cotton pad a few times a day. Regular use of this tonic makes the skin brighter and more expressive, reduces signs of aging.
In animal studies, the bioactive substances in oregano extract (carvacrol, thymol, and rosmarinic acid) have significantly reduced the development of breast cancer, as well as induced the death of diseased cells (apoptosis) and inhibited the formation of new blood vessels in tumors.
