Description
Rosemary is a digestive herb that supports liver health, promotes blood circulation in the brain, thereby improving memory and concentration, and reducing headaches and depression. The carnosic acid in its composition can protect the brain from oxidative stress, which helps reduce the risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases.
Strong antibacterial and antiviral effects: can be used to support immunity both during illness and for general prevention.
Improves skin health: reduces signs of aging, improves the general condition of the skin, reduces inflammatory processes characteristic of acne-prone skin.
Promotes hair growth: dilute 1-2 tablespoons of the infusion in a glass of water and rinse your hair after washing. Can also be prepared as a spray for hair after washing. Hair can then be rinsed or left unrinsed – but this is a matter of individual choice and taste.
Rosemary has been studied (in animal studies) as an anticancer agent through the following mechanisms: the antioxidants in the composition reduce oxidative stress, while carnosic acid and rosmarinic acid cause apoptosis (programmed cell death), regulate cell division, being able to stop defective cell division at the appropriate stage (especially studied in cases of colon and prostate tumors).
